I have take down notes you will not do when you encounter trials in your life. I am not forcing you to follow what  have written coz this is my own idea only and you can follow it if you like it.

1. Don’t escape from your pain.

Don’t deny what you’re going through. Through same people who have trials escape alcohol, shopping or other forms of addiction. We know such people. They don’t want to force their trials and then their trials worsen.

2. Don’t abandon in the dark what you have learned in the light.

There are people who abandon their knowledge and when you face with trials, stop praying. They stop going to holy mass, reading the bible or attending prayer meetings. They sulk against God. They abandon in the dark what they have learned in the light. They’ve found an excuse to sin or to neglect their spritiual life.

Trials are like blindfolds. we can’t see clearly when we have trials. But nothing has changed around you. Adultery is still wrong, attending prayer meeting is still right. Reading the Bible is still necessary, Lying is still sin. Trials or no trials, the law of love is still the same. Holiness and the law of loving God reamin the same.

3. Don’t stop praying about your problem no matter how hopleless it feels.

Even as you think your situation is hopeless. The lord will still perform his miracles. Sometimes you don’t know what kind of miracles he will perform, but keep on praying.

Towards the end of this month, well be entering the advent season. Then soon it will be Christmas. Don’t you wish that during Christmas we could make a break from our problems? Just like at work, can we have a vacation leave from our trials?

Why, are trials hard to bear? Because they’re painful, and this is what is unbearable for us, we can’t accept the pain and we respond according to what’s comfortable with us.

There are two kinds of pain and we deal with them differently.

1. Public pain, this is the kind of pain can take many forms, such as:

1. Phobia of any kind, which paralyzes a person’s productivity

1. A childhood experience such as molestation that provides constant flashback.

1. A physical handicap not easily seen, such a frequent head aches or chronic fatigue.

1. Deep depression or other emotional handicap that grip one with tenacious claves.

1. A poor choices in earlier life that robe one of emotional focus and stability, such as abortion or promiscuity. Another bad choice may be a spouse who is dishonest, in money matters, has a private addiction is inconsistent in personal life or is emotionally or physical abusive.

Somehow along the process of being lonesome we sometimes feel the irreconcilable differences that we have with others because we feel jealous with them for we think that others are very lucky to have lived a life luxuriously yet others are living in poverty. We sometimes feel that life is unfair but who are we to complain, we just have to hang on and always be thankful that everyday of our lives is a blessing.

We may ask how things went so uneasy and unlikable but to top it all these are just things that we go through in our moment of loneliness and that we keep on track and think things more than we usually do when we are not alone.
